Kaziranga 2N – Shillong 2N – Guwahati 1N

Day 01: Guwahati Airport / Railway Station – Kaziranga National Park

Approx Distance: 220 Km • Est. Travel Time: 5 Hrs

On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station, meet by our driver and transfer to Kaziranga National Park, home of the One-Horned Rhinoceros. Check in at your hotel/resort. Evening at leisure to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Day 02: Kaziranga National Park Safari

Approx Distance: Local

Early morning, explore any one zone of Kaziranga National Park on an Elephant Safari (subject to availability). The park is home to rhinos, hog deer, swamp deer, elephants, wild buffalo, and a variety of birds including pelicans, storks, and darters. Return to the resort for breakfast.

In the afternoon, enjoy a Jeep Safari through the park. Return to the hotel for evening at leisure.

Important Note: Elephant rides are regulated by the Forest Department and subject to availability. Jeep safaris are also subject to availability.

 

Day 03: Kaziranga National Park – Shillong

Approx Distance: 295 Km • Est. Travel Time: 7 Hrs

After breakfast, drive to Shillong (4,900 ft.), called the “Scotland of the East.” En route, enjoy a scenic stop at Umiam Lake. On arrival, check in at your hotel. Evening free for leisure.

Day 04: Excursion to Cherrapunjee (Sohra)

Approx Distance: 60 Km • Est. Travel Time: 2 Hrs (One Way)

After early breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Cherrapunjee, one of the wettest places on earth. Visit Nohkalikai Falls and explore Mawsmai Caves. On the return journey, stop at Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak for panoramic views. Return to Shillong.

Day 05: Shillong Sightseeing – Guwahati

Approx Distance: 100 Km • Est. Travel Time: 3 Hrs

After breakfast, visit Don Bosco Museum and Ward’s Lake in Shillong. Later, drive to Guwahati and check in at your hotel. In the evening, guests may opt for a Golden Sunset Cruise on the Brahmaputra (direct payment).

Overnight Stay: Guwahati

 

Day 06: Guwahati – Airport / Railway Station Transfer

Approx Distance: Local

After breakfast, visit Kamakhya Temple (timings: 08:00–13:00 & 15:00 till dark; visit may depend on departure time). Later, transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey.
