1. Booking & Confirmation

  • Bookings are confirmed only after receipt of advance payment.
  • Package rates are subject to availability of hotels, vehicles, and permits.
  • Itineraries may vary due to weather or local conditions in North East regions.

2. Payments

  • A specified percentage of the total package cost must be paid at the time of booking.
  • Full payment must be completed before the start of the trip.
  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, UPI, or approved payment gateways.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellation charges depend on the number of days before travel.
  • Certain components like permits, peak season bookings, or special events may be non-refundable.
  • Refund timelines depend on vendor policies and banking processes.

4. Travel Documents & Responsibilities

  • Guests must carry valid government-issued ID proof during travel.
  • Inner Line Permits (ILP) or special permits required for North East destinations must be provided by travelers when necessary.

5. Changes in Itinerary

  • North East Trip reserves the right to modify routes, hotels, or activities due to weather, road conditions, strikes, or unforeseen circumstances while ensuring guest safety.

6. Liability

  • We act only as a travel facilitator for hotels, transport, and activities.
  • We are not liable for delays, injuries, loss, or damages caused by third-party service providers or natural events.

7. Force Majeure

  • North East Trip shall not be held responsible for cancellations or disruptions caused by natural disasters, landslides, political unrest, pandemics, or other uncontrollable situations common in North East regions.

8. Behaviour Policy

  • Guests are expected to maintain respectful behaviour towards local culture, environment, and co-travelers. Any misconduct may result in termination of services without refund.

9. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Guwahati, Assam.
