Brief:
Arunachal Pradesh, the “Land of the Rising Sun,” is one of India’s most enchanting states, known for its snow-clad mountains, high-altitude passes, ancient monasteries, and vibrant tribal culture. The Tawang region in Western Arunachal is the most sought-after destination, drawing travelers with its mix of spirituality, adventure, and Himalayan beauty.

Description:
Perched high in the Eastern Himalayas, Western Arunachal offers a blend of breathtaking landscapes and rich cultural heritage. The region is home to the majestic Tawang Monastery, the largest in India, standing as a spiritual beacon amidst snow-covered peaks. Scenic drives through Sela Pass and tranquil lakes like Madhuri Lake and Sela Lake leave visitors spellbound.

Charming hill towns like Dirang and Bomdila serve as gateways to Tawang, known for their apple orchards, hot springs, and monasteries. The area is also steeped in history, with sites like the Tawang War Memorialhonoring brave soldiers of the 1962 Indo-China War. With its pristine valleys, Buddhist culture, and stunning mountain vistas, Western Arunachal is truly a Himalayan gem for nature lovers, adventure seekers, and spiritual travelers.

Very safe and well arranged trip with well trained and well behaved driver. My husband got injured at Rainbow Fall and I was little bit scared about how we would reach back to the hotel, but the Travelorr team supported us and took care of us. We returned to the hotel safely. Thank you so much for this memorable journey.”
