1st Day: Guwahati Arrival – Transfer to Shillong

Approx Distance: 100 Km • Estimated Travel Time: 3 Hours

On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station, meet and greet by our representative and proceed towards Shillong (4,900 ft.), popularly known as the “Scotland of the East”. En route, enjoy a scenic halt at the beautiful Umiam Lake, surrounded by lush green hills. On arrival at Shillong, check in to the hotel.

2nd Day: Shillong – Excursion to Cherrapunjee – Shillong

Approx Distance: 60 Km • Estimated Travel Time: 2 Hours per way

After early breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), one of the wettest places on Earth. Visit the magnificent Nohkalikai Falls and explore the limestone caves at Mawsmai. In the evening, return to Shillong, en route visiting Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak for breathtaking panoramic views.

3rd Day: Shillong Sightseeing – Transfer to Tezpur / Bhalukpong

After breakfast, visit Don Bosco Museum and Ward’s Lake. Later, proceed towards Tezpur / Bhalukpong. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Evening is free for leisure.

4th Day: Tezpur / Bhalukpong – Transfer to Dirang

Approx Distance: 138 Km • Estimated Travel Time: 5 Hours

After early breakfast, proceed towards Dirang. En route, visit Tipi Orchidarium, located on the banks of River Bharali, showcasing over 500 species of orchids including rare varieties. Later, visit Nag Temple. Continue the scenic drive crossing beautiful waterfalls and enjoying spectacular mountain views. On arrival, check in to the hotel. In the afternoon, visit Apple Orchards and Kiwi Farms (subject to season), Dirang Monastery, and Kalachakra Monastery. Dirang is also famous for its hot water springs.

5th Day: Dirang – Transfer to Tawang

After early breakfast, proceed towards Tawang, known as the Land of Hidden Paradise. En route, enjoy the scenic beauty of Sela Pass (13,700 ft) and Sela Lake, which remains frozen for most of the year. Later, visit Jaswant Garh War Memorial, dedicated to the brave soldier of the 1962 Indo–China War. Continue to Nuranang (Jung) Falls, a popular filming location. Arrive at Tawang and check in to the hotel. Evening at leisure.

6th Day: Tawang Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, visit the world-famous Tawang Monastery, the largest monastery in the Himalayan region and the second-largest in Asia. Later, visit Urgeling Gompa, the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama. Proceed to the Tawang War Memorial (Namgyal Chorten), dedicated to the martyrs of the 1962 Sino–Indian War. Visit the local craft centre for traditional handicrafts and souvenirs. Evening at leisure.

7th Day: Tawang – Transfer to Bomdila

After breakfast, proceed towards Bomdila (8,200 ft.), the headquarters of West Kameng district, known for its monasteries and pleasant climate. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Later, visit Gontse Rabgyaling Monastery (Upper Gonpa) and Thub-Chog Gatsel Ling Monastery (Lower Gonpa). Evening visit to the local market.

8th Day: Bomdila – Transfer to Guwahati

After breakfast, proceed towards Guwahati. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Evening free for individual activities.

9th Day: Guwahati – Departure

After breakfast, visit Kamakhya Temple (Darshan Timings: 08:00 AM – 01:00 PM & 03:00 PM till evening), subject to departure schedule. Later, transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey.
