1st Day (Day 01): Arrival in Guwahati – Transfer to Shillong

Approx Distance: 100 Km • Est. Travel Time: 3 Hours

Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station, meet and greet by our driver and proceed towards Shillong, situated at an altitude of approx. 4,900 ft and popularly known as the “Scotland of the East.” En route, enjoy a scenic stop at Umiam Lake, a serene reservoir surrounded by lush green hills, ideal for photography. Continue the drive to Shillong. On arrival, check in at your hotel and relax for the rest of the day.

2nd Day (Day 02): Excursion to Cherrapunjee (Sohra)

Approx Distance: 60 Km (One Way) • Est. Travel Time: 2 Hours (One Way)

After an early breakfast, proceed for a day excursion to Cherrapunjee (Sohra), located at an altitude of approx. 4,400 ft and known as one of the wettest places on earth. Visit the spectacular Nohkalikai Falls, one of India’s tallest waterfalls. Later, explore the famous Mawsmai Caves, known for their limestone formations. In the evening, drive back to Shillong. En route, visit Elephant Falls and enjoy panoramic views from Shillong Peak.

3rd Day (Day 03): Shillong Local Sightseeing

Approx Distance: Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for Shillong city sightseeing. Visit the renowned Don Bosco Museum, showcasing the culture and heritage of Northeast India. Later, visit Ward’s Lake, Botanical Garden, and Lady Hydari Park. The evening is free for personal activities such as shopping at Police Bazaar or leisure walks.

4th Day (Day 04): Shillong – Transfer to Guwahati – Departure

Approx Distance: 100 Km • Est. Travel Time: 3 Hours

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Guwahati. On arrival, transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey, carrying pleasant memories of Meghalaya.
