1st Day (Day 01): Arrival in Guwahati – Transfer to Kaziranga National Park

Approx Distance: 220 Km • Est. Travel Time: 5 Hours

Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station, meet and greet by our driver and proceed towards Kaziranga National Park, the world-famous home of the Great One-Horned Rhinoceros. Enjoy a scenic drive through Assam’s countryside. On arrival, check in at your hotel/resort. The evening is free for leisure and relaxation.

2nd Day (Day 02): Kaziranga National Park – Elephant Safari & Jeep Safari

Approx Distance: Local Sightseeing

Early morning, proceed for an Elephant Safari in one of the ranges of Kaziranga National Park (subject to availability), offering a close encounter with wildlife. Apart from the One-Horned Rhinoceros, the park is home to Hog Deer, Swamp Deer, Wild Buffalo, Asiatic Elephants and, if lucky, the Royal Bengal Tiger. Kaziranga also boasts rich birdlife, including pelicans, storks and darters due to its numerous water bodies.

Return to the hotel for breakfast. The mid-day hours are free for leisure. In the afternoon, enjoy a Jeep Safari through another range of the National Park, exploring its diverse flora and fauna. Return to the hotel by evening.

3rd Day (Day 03): Kaziranga National Park – Transfer to Shillong

Approx Distance: 295 Km • Est. Travel Time: 7 Hours

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Shillong, situated at an altitude of approx. 4,900 ft and popularly known as the “Scotland of the East.” En route, enjoy a scenic halt at Umiam Lake, a beautiful reservoir surrounded by lush green hills. Continue the drive to Shillong. On arrival, check in at your hotel and relax.

4th Day (Day 04): Excursion to Cherrapunjee (Sohra)

Approx Distance: 60 Km (One Way) • Est. Travel Time: 2 Hours (One Way)

After an early breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Cherrapunjee (Sohra), located at an altitude of approx. 4,400 ft and known as one of the wettest places on earth. Visit the spectacular Nohkalikai Falls and explore the limestone formations of Mawsmai Caves. In the evening, return to Shillong. En route, visit Elephant Falls and enjoy panoramic views from Shillong Peak.

5th Day (Day 05): Shillong – Transfer to Guwahati – Departure

Approx Distance: 100 Km • Est. Travel Time: 3 Hours

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Guwahati. On arrival, transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey with memorable experiences of Assam and Meghalaya.
