1st Day: Guwahati Arrival – Transfer to Kaziranga National Park

Approx Distance: 220 Km • Estimated Travel Time: 5 Hours

Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station, meet and greet by our representative and proceed towards Kaziranga National Park, the famous home of the One-Horned Rhinoceros. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Evening is free for leisure to relax at the resort.

2nd Day: Kaziranga National Park Safari

Approx Distance: Local sightseeing

Early morning, explore one zone of Kaziranga National Park on an Elephant Safari. Apart from the One-Horned Rhinoceros, the park is home to Hog Deer, Swamp Deer, Wild Buffalo, Elephants, and if lucky, the Royal Bengal Tiger. Kaziranga is also a paradise for bird lovers, with pelicans, storks, and darters frequently sighted due to the numerous water bodies inside the park. Return to the resort for breakfast. In the afternoon, enjoy a Jeep Safari inside the National Park. Return to the hotel after the safari.

Important Note: Elephant rides and Jeep safaris are regulated and controlled by the Forest Department, Government of Assam. We have no control over safari allotment. All safaris are strictly subject to availability and forest department permissions.

3rd Day: Kaziranga National Park – Transfer to Shillong

Approx Distance: 295 Km • Estimated Travel Time: 7 Hours

After breakfast, proceed towards Shillong (approx. 4,900 ft.), popularly known as the “Scotland of the East”. En route, enjoy a stop at the scenic Umiam Lake, surrounded by lush green hills. On arrival at Shillong, check in at the hotel. In the evening, visit Police Bazaar, the largest local market in Shillong.

4th Day: Shillong – Mawsynram – Mawphlang Sacred Forest – Shillong

Approx Distance: 60 Km • Estimated Travel Time: 1.5 Hours per way

After breakfast, proceed to Mawsynram, recorded as one of the wettest places on Earth as per geological reports. The region is also known for its caves and lush surroundings. Later, visit Mawphlang Sacred Grove, one of the largest sacred forests in Meghalaya, protected by the local community where nothing can be taken out due to traditional beliefs. Visit a Khasi Model Village to experience local culture. In the evening, visit Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak for stunning views.

5th Day: Shillong – Laitlum Canyons – Krang Suri Falls – Shillong

Approx Distance: 115 Km • Estimated Travel Time: 4 Hours per way

After breakfast, proceed to Laitlum Canyons for breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and cliffs. Later, visit Krang Suri Falls, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Meghalaya, known for its crystal-clear blue waters. Guests may enjoy swimming in the natural pool or walking behind the waterfall, subject to safety conditions. After lunch, return back to Shillong.

6th Day: Shillong – Dawki – Mawlynnong Village – Cherrapunjee

Approx Distance: 120 Km • Estimated Travel Time: 3 Hours per way

After breakfast, proceed to Mawlynnong Village, famously known as the cleanest village in Asia. Explore the charming village, the Living Root Bridge, and the unique Balancing Rock. Later, proceed to Dawki, located along the Indo–Bangladesh border, where guests can enjoy boating in the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River (subject to river conditions). In the evening, proceed towards Cherrapunjee.

7th Day: Cherrapunjee Local Sightseeing

Early morning, enjoy the mesmerizing views and misty atmosphere of Cherrapunjee. Proceed for sightseeing covering Eco Park, Dainthlen Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Falls), Mawsmai Cave, and Thangkharang Park, offering spectacular views of the Bangladesh plains.

Optional Activity: Guests may opt for a full-day trek to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge at Nongriat Village, involving approximately 3,200 steps each way. From the Double Decker Bridge, guests may further trek to Rainbow Falls, which takes about 60–90 minutes (recommended only for physically fit guests).

Overnight Stay: Cherrapunjee

8th Day: Cherrapunjee – Transfer to Guwahati

Approx Distance: 160 Km • Estimated Travel Time: 6 Hours

After breakfast, proceed towards Guwahati. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Later, visit Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra, showcasing Assamese history, culture, and traditions. Guests may also visit the Assam Film Museum. Visit GTAC Tea Lounge to enjoy premium Assam Tea and shop for varieties such as Organic, CTC, Orthodox, Green, White, and Purple Tea. In the evening, guests may opt for a Brahmaputra River Cruise at direct payment.

9th Day: Guwahati – Departure

Approx Distance: As per departure point

After breakfast, visit Kamakhya Temple (Darshan Timings: 08:00 AM – 01:00 PM & 03:00 PM till evening). Later, transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey.

Note: In case of early morning departure, Kamakhya Temple visit may be covered on the previous day instead of Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra. Evening departure is recommended for comfortable sightseeing.
