1st Day (Day 01): Arrival in Guwahati – Transfer to Shillong

Approx Distance: 100 Km • Est. Travel Time: 3 Hours

Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station, meet and greet by our driver and proceed towards Shillong, located at an altitude of approx. 4,900 ft and popularly known as the “Scotland of the East.” En route, enjoy a scenic halt at Umiam Lake, a serene reservoir surrounded by lush green hills, perfect for photography. Continue the drive to Shillong. On arrival, check in at your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

2nd Day (Day 02): Excursion to Cherrapunjee (Sohra)

Approx Distance: 60 Km (One Way) • Est. Travel Time: 2 Hours (One Way)

After an early breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Cherrapunjee (Sohra), situated at an altitude of approx. 4,400 ft and known as one of the wettest places on earth. Visit the magnificent Nohkalikai Falls and later explore the Mawsmai Caves, famous for their limestone formations. In the evening, return to Shillong. En route, stop at Elephant Falls and enjoy panoramic views from Shillong Peak.

3rd Day (Day 03): Shillong Sightseeing – Transfer to Guwahati

Approx Distance: 100 Km • Est. Travel Time: 3 Hours

After breakfast, proceed for Shillong city sightseeing, covering Don Bosco Museum and Ward’s Lake. Later, drive to Guwahati. On arrival, check in at your hotel. In the evening, guests may opt for an optional Golden Sunset Cruise on the Brahmaputra River (direct payment basis), offering scenic views of the river and city skyline.

Overnight Stay: Guwahati

 

4th Day (Day 04): Guwahati – Kamakhya Temple Visit – Departure

Approx Distance: Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for a visit to the sacred Kamakhya Temple, subject to time availability. After darshan, transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey.

Kamakhya Temple darshan is subject to your departure schedule. Temple visiting hours are 08:00 AM to 01:00 PM and 03:00 PM till evening. In case of early departure, the temple visit may be accommodated on the previous day.
